WEEK SIX RESULTS
- WEEK SIX WINNER: James Welin. James was the only person to go 6-0. The last time that happened was Week 10 of 2018. James jumped from 129th place to 12th!
- This was by far the worst week of the year. The group and lock winning percentages were 39.5% and 33.0%, respectively. It was the worst week we’ve seen since Week 7 of last year.
- Despite the poor week, only 6 people went 0-6.
- Only 8 people scored at least 100 points, this coming a week after 112 people accomplished the feat. To put it another way: Week 5 had 23.4% of the field score 100+ points(112 of 477). Week 6 had 1.7% (8 of 481). Its the lowest total since Week 7 of 2014! Week 7 of 2014 also had 8 people score 100+ points, but there were only 249 submissions that week.
- Home Underdogs went 5-1-1. It was easily the best week of the year for dogs.
- Favorites were only 4-10-1 against the spread and only 8-7 straight up.
- 157 people scored less than 40 points.
- 3 teams received at least 250 picks, they were 0-2-1 ATS.
- The Majority 6 was 1-4-1.
- Oklahoma State (70) and Auburn (79) accounted for 31% of the locks. They were both favored and lost the game outright.
- Favorites received more picks than the underdog in every single game!
- Stanford was the only underdog that received more locks than the favorite. They won the game outright as a 16.5 point dog.
- Interestingly, there were four underdogs that received exactly 1 lock selection. They were 4-0 ATS.
- Week 6 had the most popular game of the year, least popular game of the year, and biggest loser of the year.
- The number of perfect lock records went from 36 people in Week 5 to only 7 people now.
- We also have 7 people with a perfectly imperfect lock record (0-6).
- Despite a 2-3-1 record in Week 6, Chad Capra still has a 2.5 game lead in the standings.
- Only four people from Week 5 held their spot in the Top Ten.
