WEEK EIGHT RESULTS
- WEEK EIGHT WINNER: David Goble. David and Blake Benafield were the only two people to go 6-0, but David outscored Blake by 7 points. He jumped from 412th place to 286th place.
- The group and lock winning percentages were average, 49.7% and 52.1%, respectively.
- For only the third time this year, the 0-6’s (3) outnumbered the 6-0’s (2).
- The group’s lock record continues to impress. It’s at 55.3% right now. At this point last year, it was 46.8%.
- The Majority 6 might be even more impressive. Its winning at a rate of 61.5%, as opposed to only 46.9% at this point last year. If you like to oppose “public plays”, you’ve probably had a rough year so far.
- Florida was the most popular pick of the week. They won and covered.
- Oklahoma State was the second most popular pick of the week. They lost outright.
- Seven of the 30 teams received 3 locks or less. They were 3-4 ATS.
- Favorites were 10-5 ATS. Double-digit favorites were 5-1! Texas was the only double-digit favorite that failed to cover, and they almost lost outright.
- Chad Capra continues to occupy the top spot in the rankings.
- Adam Meek is the top ranked player with a losing lock record. He is in 37th place.
- Three people have an 8-0 lock record: Brandon Bains, Steve Stephenson and Jason Sampson.
- Kaleb K is the highest ranked player without a 100-point week. He is in 62nd place.
- Scott Hill was the first person out of the Elimination Bracket. He missed a spot in the bracket by losing the second tiebreaker (best lock record).
