WEEK SIX RESULTS

  • WEEK SIX WINNER:  JSC1975.  This marks the first time we’ve ever had a droid take home the weekly award. JSC1975 outscored six other people that chose the wrong week to go 6-0.
  • The group and lock winning percentages were the best of the year:  53.0% and 51.3%, respectively.
  • It’s now been six straight weeks that the lock winning percentage was worse than the overall!
  • Only two people went 0-6, which ties the low mark of the year.
  • 45 people scored 100+ points, which set the season high.
  • John Mellish moved by Kevin Manning to earn the current #1 ranking.
  • We have four new faces in the Top Ten. Jake Harbaugh was the biggest mover. He jumped from 30th to 8th.
  • Alan S and Michael Patton have gone 4-2 in four consecutive weeks.
  • Despite an 0-5-1 lock record, Derek Holland is still in the Top 20.
  • Despite a 5-1 lock record, Myron Martin is in 322nd place.
  • Six weeks into the season, and nobody has a perfect lock record. Our current leader is Dusty Weatherly with a 5-0-1 record. 11 people are at 5-1.
  • Despite an 0-5-1 lock record, Derek Holland is still in the Top 20.
  • Despite a 5-1 lock record, Myron Martin is in 322nd place.
  • 9 people have an 0-6 lock record.
  • Even though the two most popular picks of the week (Alabama and Michigan) were losers, the group still had a winning record overall.
  • Stanford and Arkansas were the only underdogs to receive more interest than the favorites. Arkansas covered, Stanford didn’t.
  • Strangely, we had four teams receive exactly one lock: South Carolina, Auburn, Boise State and Texas A&M. Only Boise and A&M covered, and they both won outright.
  • Only 20% of the locks went for the underdog.
  • Favorites went 10-5 ATS this week.
  • We had our least popular game of the year: Utah vs USC. Only 67 people made a selection in that game. It’s the third time this year that a PAC-12 game has been the least popular.
