- WEEK TWELVE WINNER: Carolyn Beins. Carolyn went 6-0 and earned maximum bonus points with her lock. That’s a good way to win the week, which she did. Her 131 points were the 2nd most scored this year.
- The overall and lock winning percentages were pretty good: 53.8% and 63.8%, respectively.
- Week Eleven was the second best week of the year by almost all categories: winning percentage, lock winning percentage, average score and 100+ points.
- Despite it being a good week, the group majority only went 6-9 ATS.
- Jacob Harbaugh has been hanging out near the top of the leaderboard for most of the year. He finally inched his way into the top overall spot. He currently sits 4 points clear of John Mellish.
- Four people climbed into the Top Ten from outside the Top 20.
- Six people in the Top Ten scored 100+ points in Week 12.
- Only 25 points separate 10th place from 20th place.
- 43 people have at least 40 wins. 67 people have at least 40 losses.
- Dusty Weatherly has a 11-0-1 lock record. He left no doubt this week by going 6-0.
- Tyler H is still looking for his first lock win. I don’t know the odds of going 0-12, but its not good.
- Myron Martin is 10-2 on his locks, but he is only 28-44 overall. That means 36% of his wins are from his locks.
- The three most popular picks of the week (Baylor, OSU and OU) were all ATS winners.
- Those three schools accounted for 42% of the locks.
- Favorites were 9-6 ATS, which pushes their yearly total over 50%.
- 5 underdogs received the majority of the picks. Baylor was the only one to cover the spread.
- Ohio State and Notre Dame both earned maximum bonus points.
- 10 of the 15 games earned bonus points, which tied Week Two for the highest total of the year.
- We are down to the Final Four in the bracket: Dusty Weatherly, Steve Baker, Brad Knowles and Shannon W. They all scored at least 87 points to advance.
