WEEK SEVEN RESULTS

  • WEEK SEVEN WINNER:  Hollywould and Tim Andrews. For the second time in three weeks, Hollywould went 6-0. This time it was good enough to share the weekly prize with Tim.
  • The group and lock winning percentages were good:  51.4% and 53.1%, respectively.
  • The average score was 63 points this week. It is the 6th time in 7 weeks that the average score has been 60+ points.
  • There were six 6-0s and only two 0-6’s. That brings the yearly total to 40 and 28, respectively.
  • After going 5-2, home underdogs crept bag over the .500 mark for the year.
  • The “Majority 6” is an impressive 23-17-1 for the year.
  • A bad week is coming soon.
  • Of the six most popular picks of the week, Kansas was the only team that didn’t cover the spread.
  • The most popular game of the week was OSU vs TCU. 279 picks were made in that game. OSU covered the spread, but lost the game.
  • Despite only being the 8th most popular pick overall, Baylor was the 3rd most popular lock. They lost outright to West Virginia.
  • Neither Auburn nor Florida State received even one lock. Auburn covered. FSU did not.
  • The WSU vs Oregon State game was the least popular game of the week and also the least popular game of the year.
  • The group majority went with the underdog in five games. In those games, they were 4-1 ATS.
  • For the first time this year, there wasn’t a single game that earned more than one bonus point.
  • Emily still owns the top spot on the leaderboard, but it is getting tighter.
  • The gap between 1st place and 10th place is 62 points. After Week 5, it was 87 points.
  • Only five people have a 7-0 lock record. Matt McClarnon has the highest overall ranking (2nd place). Nick Crisco has the lowest overall ranking (318th place).
  • Nobody is 0-7, but 15 people are 1-6.
