- WEEK FOURTEEN WINNER: Aaron Jack. Aaron didn’t have the year he wanted, but he ended it on a high note. He had the only 6-0 for the week, collected some prize money and pushed his season record to an even .500.
- The group and lock winning percentages were bad again: 45.5% and 39.7%, respectively. It was a rough final three weeks of the season for the group.
- 13 people went 0-6, which is the highest total of the year.
- The 6-0s had been leading the 0-6s since Week 3. An awful Week 14 flipped the season results to 68 and 75, respectively.
- For the 2nd straight week, the group majority was only 2-4 ATS.
- No surprise here, but the Akron vs Buffalo game didn’t receive much interest. The 58 total picks was the fewest of the season. Akron covered the spread, but Buffalo won the game.
- TCU vs KSU was the most popular game of the year. There were fewer options this week, but still, it received the interest of 351 participants, which was 94% of the entries! It was a great game that was decided at the goal line in OT. KSU won as an underdog.
- 26% of the locks (97 picks) were placed on TCU alone. They failed to cover.
- Michigan was the 2nd most popular pick of the week. They covered late against Purdue, otherwise it would’ve been a disastrous week for the group.
- The group majority only picked an underdog in one game: LSU vs Georgia. It didn’t work out.
- Aaron Bowser held onto his league and is our 2022 PP6 Champion.
- Colby Leseberg claimed the 2nd spot by one point over Lenora Gaston.
- Jayme Ross used a 104 point week to catapult himself from 21st place to 4th.
- Kris Kubin was the only person to finish in the Top Ten AND win a weekly prize.
- Out of the people that submitted picks every week, Trevor Bowman had the worst record at 30-53-1. Mirrored, he would’ve been two games better than Aaron’s record of 51-32-1.
- Lee Bowen was our lock champion, finishing an incredible 13-1. Jayme Ross finished 2nd at 11-2-1.
- Robert Behnken’s lock record of 2-12 was the worst. However, he was 47-36-1 overall.
- The “Best Finish” award went to Justin Phillips. He was 16-8 down the stretch and scored 348 points.
- Lastly, Jimmy Smith beat out Bary Holleyman to win the Elimination Bracket Championship. Bary did, however, finish 8th in the final standings.
