  • For the second time this year, nobody went 0-6.
  • The favored teams were 11-3-1 against the spread!
  • The group majority was 10-4-1 ATS and the 75% majority was 4-1.
  • The most popular pick of the week was FSU.  They covered the spread in their showdown against Clemson.
  • Colorado was the most popular underdog we’ve had all year, garnering 210 picks and 40 locks.  They got crushed by Oregon.
  • The group majority only went with the underdog in 4 games.  The underdogs were 1-2-1 ATS in those contests.
  • The most popular game of the week was Notre Dame vs Ohio State.  Notre Dame received 183 picks to Ohio State’s 110.  The game ended in a push.
  • Bonus points were hard to come by this week.  Only four games earned bonus points, and they all only earned the minimum.
  • Surprisingly, the least popular game was an SEC matchup:  Auburn vs A&M.
  • The biggest loser of the week was Oklahoma.  They were heavily picked over Cincinnati and failed to cover the spread.
  • Jridge and CoopStogs are tied atop the leaderboard with an impressive 20-3-1 record.
  • 3 people have had 3 weeks of scoring 100+ points:  Jride, CoopStogs and Abby Holley.

  • 39 people have a perfect 4-0 lock record.
  • 17 people have lost all their locks.

WEEK THREE RESULTS

  • WEEK THREE WINNER:  Jarod Tarver.  Despite it not being a very good week for the group as a whole, we still had six people go 6-0. Jarod led the way with 133 points, which is the highest score of the year so far.
  • The group and lock winning percentages came back down to earth:  46.3% and 39.7%, respectively.
  • Only 36 people scored at least 100 points, which is the highest mark since Week 3 of 2022.
  • Despite a similar winning percentage to Week One, we only had 4 people go 0-6.
  • Kansas State was the most popular pick of the week. They lost in a wild finish to their rival, Missouri.
  • The top four most popular picks (KSU, OSU, Colorado and Tennessee) were all ATS losers. Colorado was the only team that was still at least able to win their game.
  • Speaking of Colorado, their TV ratings have been insane. They drew an audience of 9.3M in their late night showdown against Colorado State. That number is almost double what any other game received.
  • West Virginia was the most popular underdog we’ve had this year, and they are only the 5th underdog to receive at least 100 picks. They rewarded their loyal following with an ATS cover.
  • Mississippi State was the only other underdog to receive more picks than the favorite. They got killed by LSU.
  • 81% of the locks went for the favored team.
  • West Virginia was the only underdog to receive more locks than the favorite. They alone accounted for 38% of the locks that went for underdogs.
  • Oklahoma State was the biggest loser of the week, and the biggest loser of the year. 91% of the picks placed in that game went for OSU. By halftime, 91% of those people had no chance to cover.
  • South Alabama, the least popular pick of the week, was the only pick that earned maximum bonus points.
  • 12 of the 15 games at least earned one bonus point!

WEEK TWO RESULTS

  • WEEK TWO WINNER:  Joe Cafiero.  Long-time participant, Joe Cafiero, was the high scorer for the week. He led a group of seven people that went 6-0.
  • The group and lock winning percentages were outstanding:  58.1% and 68.5%, respectively. Its the highest winning percentage we’ve seen since Week 10 of 2020. Excluding 2020 (since the format was different), you’d have to go back to Week 5 of 2019.
  • 83 people scored at least 100 points, which is the highest mark since Week 3 of 2022.
  • The average score, 71.8, is also the best since Week 3 of last year.
  • Nobody went 0-6. It’s the first time that has happened since Week 13 of 2021.
  • The Majority 6 rebounded this week with a 4-2 record.
  • The most popular PP6 pick of the week, and probably the most popular pick in the country, was Colorado. Prime and Co rewarded their following with an easy victory over Nebraska.
  • OU was the 2nd most popular pick of the week. They used a late push to cover the spread.
  • OU and Colorado accounted for 38% of the locks, hence the great lock record.
  • SMU was the only team that didn’t receive at least one lock.
  • Six underdogs received more picks than the favorite. Three of the six covered.
  • Washington State and Cincinnati were the only two underdogs that received more locks than the favorite. They both won outright and earned bonus points.
  • Utah became the biggest loser of the year. They received 84% of the picks in their game against Baylor. They scored two late touchdowns to win the game, but they failed to cover.
  • There were 5 SEC schools on the list. They only went 1-4 against the spread, and they lost their two marquee matchups outright. Their non-conference struggles will be conveniently forgotten as the season wears on.

WEEK ONE RESULTS

  • WEEK ONE WINNER:  Herbert Grover*.  Three people went 6-0 this week, but Herbert led the way with 132 points.  *Results should be considered unofficial until next week
  • The group and lock winning percentages got off to a rough start:  44.5% and 39.2%, respectively.
  • 13 people went 0-6. In all of 2022, there was only one week where 13 people went 0-6.  Of the 13 people that went 0-6, none of them wanted to.
  • Only 31 people scored at least 100 points.
  • Home underdogs were the way to go this week.  They finished 3-1.
  • The top 6 most popular picks (Majority 6) only went 2-4 ATS.
  • The Sunday night game between FSU and LSU saw the most action.  LSU was easily the most popular side, but they got runover by FSU in the 2nd half.
  • Speaking of LSU, they were also the most popular lock of the week.  Ouch.
  • The four most popular picks of the week (Clemson, Texas Tech, LSU and TCU) were all not only ATS losers, but they all lost the game outright as favorites!  They were favored by a combined 50.5 points and lost by a combined 47 points.
  • We had two teams earn the maximum bonus points:  OU in their rout over Arkansas State and Duke in the stunner against Clemson
  • Only 3 underdogs received more interest than the favorite: Nebraska, South Carolina and San Jose State.  Of the three, Nebraska was the only team to cover.
  • Not a single underdog received more locks than the favorite.
  • 4 SEC schools made an appearance on the Week One pick form.  Tennessee was the only one to win.
  • Same scenario for the Big 12 schools.  4 on the list.  OU was the only team to win.
