- WEEK FIVE WINNER: Ryan Kotek. Only five people went 6-0 this week. There weren’t a ton of bonus points to come by this week, but Ryan found the most. He also now finds himself in 27th place overall.
- The group and lock winning percentages were solid 52.0% and 50.1%, respectively.
- For the 3rd time in five weeks, the scoring average was over 60 points.
- Despite it being a pretty good week, we had 6 people go 0-6.
- The favored teams had another great week: 9-5-1. Over the last two weeks, they are 20-8-2.
- The most popular pick of the week, Georgia, failed to cover the spread against Auburn.
- The most popular game of the week was Notre Dame vs Duke. In the closing seconds of the game, ND scored a td and a 2 point conversion to cover the spread and win the game.
- The least popular game was NC State vs Louisville. I guess it is fitting that it ended in a push.
- The group majority went with the underdog in five games. Of the five, BYU was the only team to cover.
- For the second straight week, only four games earned bonus points.
- It’s staying pretty tight atop the leaderboard. Only 28 points separate 1st from 5th. Through five week last year, the gap was 78 points.
- 18 people are a perfect 5-0 on their locks. Of those, Russell Kent has the worst overall record at 12-17-1.
- 8 people are 0-5.
