- WEEK SIX WINNER: Tyler Terrel. Five people went 6-0 this week. Tyler’s 132 points were the most for the week and the 2nd highest total of the year.
- The group and lock winning percentages were really good again: 54.7% and 55.3%, respectively.
- It was the third straight week that the lock and winning percentages were above .500.
- The average score, 70.8 points, was the 2nd highest of the year thanks to the number of potential bonus points.
- Speaking of bonus points, nine of the 15 games earned bonus points. There were five games that earned 3 bonus points.
- For the third time this year, nobody went 0-6. That is a pretty remarkable feat considering the number of people submitting picks.
- For the 3rd time in five weeks, the scoring average was over 60 points.
- Favorites continue to roll. They were 9-5-1 in Week 6 and are now 51-36-3 for the year.
- Home underdogs, usually a reliable bet, are only covering 48% of the time.
- Teams receiving a 75% majority of the picks are covering 64% of the time. That winning percentage would be good enough for a Top 20 position in the standings.
- Alabama and Notre Dame tied as the most popular pick. Bama won and covered. ND lost outright.
- Kansas and ND were the two most popular locks. Kansas killed Central Florida. See above for ND.
- Only four underdogs received more interest than the favorite: OU, WSU, Kentucky and Wyoming. OU and Wyoming covered. WSU and Kentucky did not.
- For the first time this year, a favored team was not even locked once: Fresno State.
- Home favorites were 4-1-1 ATS.
- Despite having a losing lock record, Herbert Grover sits atop the PP6 standings.
- Only 21 points separate 1st from 7th.
- Iven Stevenson is a cool 10-25-1 for the year. Mirror his record and he’d be in 2nd place.
- 13 people have a perfect 6-0 lock record. Russell Kent is the only one of the 13 with a losing overall record.
- 4 people have a lock record of 0-6.
