WEEK FIFTEEN RESULTS

WEEK FIFTEEN RESULTS

  • WEEK FIFTEEN WINNER:  Cody Welsch. He had the only 6-0 record for the week.  Nice way to end the year.
  • The group winning percentage was 47.4%, with a lock winning percentage of 47.5%.
  • 34 people locked Wisconsin.  Poor, poor decision.
  • Out of the people that submitted picks every week, Richie Howells and I had the worst overall record:  29-59-2. Reverse those records and we finish in the top two spots.
  • Out of the people that submitted picks every week, Bob Wilkerson and Mike Hester had the worst lock record:  2-13.  Mirror that record and they tie for first.

WEEK FOURTEEN RESULTS

WEEK FOURTEEN RESULTS

  • WEEK FOURTEEN WINNER:  Justin Reed. He was one of five people to go 6-0, edging out Daniel Couch for the weekly prize.
  • The group winning percentage was 54.2%.  The lock percentage was  73.2%, thanks to a low Ohio State line.
  • The group majority went 11-4 last week.
  • Trevor Bowman still leads the PP6.  He has a 67 point lead over Brian Patton.
  • 10th place is the last paying spot.  24 people have a realistic chance of finishing in the top ten.
  • John Forrest still leads the lock race.  DJ Cherry is 1/2 a game back.  Three others are a full game behind.
  • We will have a husband vs wife showdown in the finals of the elimination bracket.  The question is whether Trevor gets to keep any of the money for himself, win or lose.
  • Zach Favors still leads the “best finish” contest.  Michael Borgelt is in second place.

WEEK THIRTEEN RESULTS

WEEK THIRTEEN RESULTS

  • WEEK THIRTEEN WINNER:  Zachary Favors. In a tough week for the group, he was the only person with a perfect record.  Even more impressive, he has gone 6-0 the last two weeks.  Even more impressive than that, he has stayed relatively humble.
  • The group winning percentage was 41.7%.  The lock percentage was  an ugly 26.2%.
  • Most of the blame for the poor lock record was Baylor and Wisconsin failing to cover.
  • Double digit favorites went 1-4.  OU was the only big favorite to cover.
  • John Forrest still leads the lock race.  He is also still alive in the bracket.
  • Speaking of the bracket, there is still a chance we could have a husband vs wife final.  The Bowman’s are both still alive.
  • We are two weeks into the “Best Finish”, and Zach Favors obviously has the lead.
